Safety first: how Doxxar verifies every traveller

May 12, 2026 · 4 min read

Trust is not optional in a marketplace where strangers carry each other's belongings across borders. Here's exactly how Doxxar builds it.

ID verification

Every Partner must submit a government-issued ID (passport or national ID card) before they can accept any booking. We use a third-party identity verification service that validates the document and performs a live selfie check. Unverified accounts cannot carry parcels.

PIN-protected handover

When a booking is confirmed, the sender receives a unique 6-digit PIN by email. The traveller cannot mark a delivery as complete without entering that PIN. This prevents false confirmations and creates an undeniable audit trail.

Escrow payments

Senders pay at booking. Funds are held in escrow and only released to the traveller after the sender confirms receipt via PIN. If a dispute is raised within 24 hours of delivery, funds are frozen pending review.

Ratings and reviews

Every completed delivery generates a two-way rating. Partners with ratings below 4.0 are automatically suspended pending review. Repeat offenders are permanently removed.

Our support team

We have a dedicated trust and safety team available 24/7. Response time averages under 2 hours for urgent cases. Disputes are typically resolved within 48 hours.
